GATE 2016
Easy
A real square matrix A is called skew-symmetric if
- AA^T = A
- BA^T = A^-1
- A^T = -A
- DA^T = A + A^-1
Explanation
A matrix is skew-symmetric when its transpose equals its own negative: A^T = -A. (Symmetric matrices instead satisfy A^T = A.)
