Easy
If f(t) is a function defined for all t ≥ 0, its Laplace transform F(s) is defined as
- A∫₀^∞ e^(st) f(t) dt
- ∫₀^∞ e^(-st) f(t) dt
- C∫₀^∞ e^(ist) f(t) dt
- D∫₀^∞ e^(-ist) f(t) dt
Explanation
By definition, the Laplace transform of f(t) is F(s) = ∫₀^∞ e^(-st) f(t) dt, the decaying-exponential kernel that guarantees convergence for suitable f.
