For absorption of H2S from a mixture with hydrocarbon vapour into an aqueous alkanolamine solution, the liquid phase mass transfer resistance is

Explanation
The fast reaction between H2S and the alkanolamine essentially eliminates liquid-film resistance, making the process gas-film controlled.
