Explanation
Fluid energy (jet) mills use high-velocity gas jets to cause particle-particle collisions and are the standard equipment for producing very fine particles down to the single-digit micron range. Hammer mills, jaw crushers, and roll crushers are coarse/intermediate reduction equipment, not capable of such fine sizes.
