Explanation

The q-line passes through (zF,zF)=(0.5,0.5) and (x',y')=(0.46,0.66), giving slope=(0.66−0.5)/(0.46−0.5)=0.16/(−0.04)=−4. Since slope=q/(q−1)=−4, solving gives q=0.8. Since 0<q<1, the feed is partially vaporized (a mix of liquid and vapor).
