GATE 2010
Easy
The inverse of the matrix [[1,2],[3,4]] is
- A[[-2,-1],[-1.5,-0.5]]
- B[[-2,1.5],[1,-0.5]]
- [[-2,1],[1.5,-0.5]]
- D[[2,-1.5],[-1,0.5]]
Explanation
det=1×4−2×3=−2. Inverse=(1/det)×[[4,−2],[−3,1]]=(1/−2)×[[4,−2],[−3,1]]=[[−2,1],[1.5,−0.5]].
